Nylon's Best Bits

I read the mag so you don't have to :)

[The notorious magazine next to my new mustard bag]

So as you know, I've been reading Nylon practically all day and still haven't finished - it is so full of brilliance :). After devouring it, I felt I should share with you my favourite parts of the magazine so far...

1. Peaches Geldof AND 2. Fashion!

1. Ok, so firstly Peaches Geldof's page. A lot of people seem to really not like her but I think she's an actually very genuine person. And her page in Nylon is always really witty and interesting. Did anyone see her on GMTV this morning? She mentioned Nylon!! Haha, I squealed. This month's page was about Hollywood. Her last sentence: "The kids are taking over." Oh, yeah.

2. As always, Nylon has a fabulous range of fashion pages from drop dead serious catwalk crap to quirky little items that amuse people like me. And true words written on the t-shirt in the photo - homework DOES hurt trees!

3. Japan AND 4. Wayfarers

3. I always love the travel pages of Nylon because it's so different from any other English fashion magazines as I don't know of one which sends a ready journalist to experience a new culture and jump fully into the life of someone different. This month it was Japan (YAY) and the writer experienced Cosplay in the famous Harajuku district ["Harajuku girls you've got some wicked style, I like the way that you are, I am your biggest fan..." Gwen Stefani - Harajuku Girls]. It was really fascinating and I loved the photos.

4. I've always been a fan of Rayban Wayfarers (though not exactly sure if they suit me) and was excited to be informed that the people at Rayban have gone all creative and created pens for doodlers like myself to draw on their favourite pair of sunnies. Yay for creativity!

And that's about it (well, not really - I love the whole of the magazine, but you'll just have to buy it yourself to see the other excellent pages). At the moment am uploading more ebay items and waiting for Ashes to Ashes to come on - last one tonight.

Love and hot chocolate,

Madison
